End Grain Cutting Board

End-grain cutting board (cherry, oak, walnut)
Over January 2026 (MIT's IAP semester), I took an end grain cutting board class at MIT Hobby Shop (MIT's awesome woodworking shop). There, I worked on my woon end-grain cutting board over the course of four Fridays, for ~15 hours total.
The final dimensions are 15''x15''. She's large :)
Made over January 2026 and now used daily in my household. Tools: planer, table saw, sander (MIT Hobby Shop).
BONUS
Paper towel holder (aluminum)
Made in 3 parts, all from scrap stock, in under an hour. It replaced a store-bought holder that broke, and has survived 2 moves and years of abuse. Tools: CAD, waterjet, lathe, drill press.
